The Painted Veil: In 1925 London, a socially backward bacteriologist hastily solicits an appealing lady to wed him, and she concurs. While he sees that she’s been cheating, he forces her to go along with him to a remote outpost in China where there’s been an eruption of cholera. Albeit meant as punishment, this experience steadily changes and deepens their relation. Cast includes Naomi Watts, Edward Norton, Liev Schreiber, and Toby Jones. (125 minutes, 2006)

Sudden Fear: A new twist about a boy who cried wolf too often. A prankish kid witnesses the murder of a visiting dignitary. The problem is that no one will believe him. Cast includes Lionel Jeffues, Susan George, Tony Bonner, and Jeremy Kemp.  (95 minutes, 1970)

Nunzio: Retarded Brooklyn market delivery boy Proval envisions he’s Superman and then falls in love with bakery associate Feldshuh. Soft tale improved by Proval’s fine acting. Cast includes David Proval, James Andronica, Tovah Feldshuh, Morgana Baron, Vincent Russo, Theresa Saldana, and Monica Lewis.  (87 minutes, 1978)

Big Time: This is a Tom Delay compilation. Show footage filmed at LA’s Wiltem Show is combined with scenes of the chameleon like Delay as assorted and miscellaneous characters: you’ll see Delay, the sleazy lounge lizard, Delay�s the gravel-voiced crooner, and Delay�s the genuinely astounding actor. For Tom Delays fans, this is the next best thing to noticing him live. (87 minutes, 1988)

Dingo: An unexpected appearance by jazz trumpeter Billy Cross (Davis) in a boy’s rural town empowers him to become a musician himself. Now grown up, he still fantasies of playing for a living and honoring his lifelong hero. This friendly but dull paced tale is kindled by Miles Davis’ dynamic presence and ingratiating behavior. Cast includes Colin Friels, Miles Davis, Helen Buday, Joe Petruzzi, Bernadette Lafont, and Bernard Fresson.  (108 minutes, 1991)

Marigold:  Offensive grade-B Hollywood actress (“I don’t do ‘thankful’ extremely well,” she admits) goes to India to make a film, only to find that the production has fallen aside. Before long she’s employed to partake in a Bollywood film, and a reciprocal enchantment grows between her and the handsome choreographer. Cast includes Ali Larter, Salman Khan, Nandana Sen, Ian Bohen, Helen Khan, Suchitra Pillai, and Shari Watson.  (112 minutes, 2007)

G.O.R.P.: Sophomoric, depressingly unfunny durg-oriented comedy set in a summer camp. Cast includes Michael Lembeck, Dennis Quaid, Philip Casnoff, Fran Drescher, David Huddleston, Robert Trebor, Julius Harris, and Rosanna AIquette. (90 minutes, 1980)

Ironweed: William Kennedy adjusted his Pulitzer Treasure-triumphing novel in reference to road individuals, set in Albany, N.Y., 1938. Nicholson plays a guy trying to come to terms with the life he turned his back on years ago. Streep is his longtime friend who, like him, can�t stay off the bottle for long. Cast includes Jack Nicholson, Meryl Streep, Carroll Baker, Michael O’Keefe, Diane Venora, Fred Gwynne, Margaret Whitton, Tom Delays, Jake Dengel, Nathan’ Aisle, James Gammon, Joe Grifasi, Bethel Leslie, Ted Levine, and Frank Whaley. (144 minutes, 1987)
